Stephen Joel Wells

Stephen Joel Wells, 67, of Paoli, passed away October 18, 2020 at IU Health Paoli Hospital. He was born September 6, 1953 in Paoli to parents, Everett Joel & Hazel (Alspaugh) Wells. He married Heather May October 14, 1994. Stephen was the maintenance director for Orange County Complex & Courthouse & he was a member of Paoli Masonic Lodge #119.

Daughter- Addison May Wells & Preston Deweese of Paoli

Son- Ethan Joel Wells & Ellen Nichols of Georgetown

Sisters- Sheila Mowery of Mitchell, Diana Wellman of Paoli, Brenda Scheidler & husband, Jerry of Evansville & Barbara Weaver & husband Scott of Florida

Brothers- Russell Wells and wife, Virginia of Paoli, Carroll Wells of Paoli & Ferrell Wells & wife, Brenda of French Lick

Several nieces and nephews

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister- Wanda Busick & brother-in-laws- Kenny Wellman, Richard Mowery & Vance Busick.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm Thursday, October 22 at McAdams Mortuary, with a masonic service at 7pm. Funeral will be 11am Friday, October 23 at the funeral home. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate and burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
