Theadore "Ted" Manship

Theadore "Ted" Glen Manship, age 65, of Hardinsburg, passed away on September 13, 2024, at IU Health Paoli Hospital. Ted was born on April 6, 1959, in Salem, Indiana, to Rex and Margaret (Murphy) Manship. On January 13, 1979, he married Peggy Hazlewood, and together they built a loving family and life.

Ted worked as a self-employed logger. He was happiest when he was outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or just being in nature. He deeply loved the woods and the simple joys of the open air.

Ted is survived by his wife, Peggy Manship of Hardinsburg; his son, Tyler Manship (Lindsey) of Paoli; daughters- Greta Turner (Nathan) of Paoli, and Vanessa Manship of Hardinsburg. He also leaves behind his parents, Rex and Margaret Manship of Paoli; sisters, Carol Adams of Paoli & Deretha Manship of Orleans; brother, Lyndel Manship (Carolyn) of Paoli; grandchildren: Taylor Manship (Brittany), Tristan Manship, Tanner Manship (Autumn), Kaulen Turner, Landon Smith, Klayton Turner, Khota Manship, Lisa Manship, Knox Richardson & Etta Manship & great-grandchildren: Alexa Davis, Waylon Manship, and Rhett Vowels.

A visitation for Ted will be held on Monday, September 16, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paoli Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 17, at 1:00 PM, with friends invited to call after 10:00 AM at the church. Bro. David Manship and Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate.
