Theresa Kay Nevill

Theresa Kay Nevill, age 64 of Hardinsburg, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2026 at IU Health Indianapolis Hospital. She was born on January 21, 1962 in Salem to Walter Reynolds & Barbara (Ater) Reynolds. On October 18, 2003 she married William "Bill" Nevill, and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2024. Theresa retired as Deputy Clerk Treasurer for the town of Orleans. and also worked at L & L Amusement and Kemple Hardware, both formerly of Paoli. She attended Kay's Chapel Church of Fredericksburg, where she served as treasurer. She always wanted to express her faith in Jesus and was a willing servant since her baptism in 1976. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and playing dominoes with her family. 

Survivors include her son, Chris Hopper (Jenny) of Orleans; daughter, Kim Fletcher (Matt Swaagman) of Orleans; mother-in-law, Jo Ann Nevill of Hardinsburg; step-daughters, Kelley Reynolds (David) of Charlestown, SC & Kimberly Unterreiner (Brett) of Charlestown, SC; step-son, Kyle Nevill (Christina) of Hardinsburg; grandchildren, Case Hopper, Maverick Hopper, Brody Fletcher, Adalyn Fletcher, Coraline Fletcher, and grandbaby girl on the way, Mya Moses, Jerilynn Quillen, Jennifer Quillen, Gracelynn Nevill, Ava Unterreiner, & Ingrid Unterreiner. 

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. 

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 11am - 1pm at Kay's Chapel Church in Fredericksburg. The funeral will follow at 1pm at the church. Pastor Jason Austin will officiate. The burial will be in the Kay's Chapel Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
