Walter M Goodpaster

Walter M. Goodpaster, age 65 of West Baden Springs, passed away on April 18, 2024, at home. He was born on March 8, 1959, in Paoli, to parents Walker Hughes & Hallie D. (Flick) Goodpaster. Walter married Valerie Gugel on January 5, 2002. Over the years Walter embraced several jobs including, bartending, truck driver, painter, concrete and transport for the nursing home. He enjoyed fishing, colts football, NASCAR, and family vacations.

Walter is survived by his wife - Valerie Goodpaster of West Baden Springs

Step-children- Peter Kent of West Baden Springs & Morena Kent of Philadelphia, PA

Brother - Tim Goodpaster of French Lick

Nephews- Brian, Jeffery, Chris & Robert Goodpaster

Nieces- Melissa Goodpaster & Carrie Emmons

Several In-laws.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings - Gary Goodpaster, Veronica Gilliatt, Paul Goodpaster, and Blaine Goodpaster; nieces - Hallie Goodpaster Soop, and Jennifer Asher, & Nephew, Kenny Goodpaster.

The visitation for Walter M. Goodpaster will be held on Tuesday, April 23, from 4 - 7 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 1 pm at the funeral home. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. Burial will be at the Bethel Cemetery of Orleans.
