Zola Mae Buchanan, age 64, of English, passed away at her home on March 22, 2026. She was born July 22, 1961, in Salem to Lloyd and Mary (Birchum) Campbell. Zola married David Buchanan on November 26, 1977, and he survives.

Zola worked at Kimball International for many years and attended Harned Chapel Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest happiness was her grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished deeply.

Survivors include her husband, David Buchanan of English; her children, Tracy Weaver (Derek) of Taswell and Bryan Buchanan of Orleans; her grandchildren, Zackary, Jason, Tristin, Jenna, and Eria; and her siblings, Tom Epperson, Bill Epperson (Cathy), Everett Epperson, James Epperson (Janet), Buddy Campbell (Kathy), Kitty Killborne (Bud), Dixie Graves (Bob), and Ricki Campbell and Sandy.

Zola was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Ima and Lavonne; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon, Christine, Colleen, and Jackie.

Visitation will be held from 4:00–7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, at the funeral home, with Bro. Paul Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Mathers Chapel Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at mcadamsmortuary.com.
