Carolyn S (Allen) Cowan

Carolyn S. Cowan, 83, of Orleans passed away June 17, 2021 at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 21, 1938 in Mitchell to parents, Harry S. & Anna (Hall) Allen. Carolyn was a retired store manager for Dollar General for 17 years. 

Survivors include:

Daughter- Judith Wisley Cooper of Orleans

Sons- Dwight Wisley & wife, Janet of Orleans &

          Timothy Hall of Orleans

Sisters- Mary Morris of Bedford &

           Pauline Cook of Mitchell

Brothers- Lester Allen of Clarksville

               Kenny Allen of Orleans & 

               John Allen of Florida

8 Grandchildren

10 Great Grandchildren 

4 Great-great-grandchildren

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, first husband- Cedric Hall, second husband- William Cowan, sister- Juanita Lebrun & great-grandson- Walker Wisley.

Funeral for Carolyn S. Cowan will be 2pm Saturday, June 19 at McAdams Mortuary. Bro. Mike Williams will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Friday, June 18 at the funeral home and after 11am on Saturday. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery of Orleans. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
