Claude Raymond Beachy

Claude Raymond Beachy, 93, passed away November 18 at Goodwill Retirement Community in Grantsville, MD. He was born July 14, 1927 in Springs, PA to parents, Joel & Annie Beachy. He married Edna Yoder, January 1, 1949. He was a retired missionary serving as engineer at Radio 4VEH in Haiti under OMS International (Greenwood Indiana), and at HCJB World Radio in Quito, Ecuador (Colorado Springs, CO) He was actively involved with Gideons International during his early retirement years. He attended Paoli Mennonite Fellowship from 1995-2016. 

Survivors include:

Daughters:  Kristine Gehman of Morton, IL, Karen Hartfield of Englewood, FL, Karla Litwiller of Tremont, IL     

Sons: John Beachy of Rathdrum, ID  James Beachy of Hinton, VA, and David Beachy of Paoli, IN

Brother:  Stanley Beachy of Carlisle, PA  

Sister: Lela Beachy of Lincoln, DE

15 grandchildren

 9 great grandchildren

Claude is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Y. Beachy, brothers, Alvin Beachy & Ivan Beachy & sister Margaret Hershberger. 

A private graveside service will be held at Paoli Community Cemetery. Arrangements by McAdams Mortuary.
