Claude Edward Sergent

Claude Edward Sergent, 64, of Orleans, passed away November 30, 2021. He was born March 16, 1957 in Whitesburg, KY to parents, Morris & Mattie (Lucas) Sergent. He married Carol (Balog) Sergent October 2, 2004. Claude was a retired truck driver for Priority Trucking of Mississippi. He was also a member and  former officer for A.B.A.T.E of Indiana.

Wife- Carol Sergent of Orleans

Daughters- Tracy Wilder (Mark) of Paoli, Amanda Albarez of French Lick, Kristen Elliott of Paoli & Melissa Wilson (Chuck) of Paoli

Son- Matthew Sergent (Mandy) of Paoli

Step Daughters- Carol Shipman (Dicky) of Paoli & Darlene Haley (Michael Pinnick) of Paoli

Step Son- Joe Haley (Jennifer) of Indianapolis

Sisters- Freda Underhill of French Lick & Rita Lawrence of Huntingburg

Brothers- Jesse Sergent of Shoals, Jay Sergent of Plainville, Rick Sergent of Loogootee and Randall Sergent of West Baden

23 Grandchildren

Claude is preceded in death by: parents, brothers- Vernon, Philip, Jimmy, R.J. & Eugene Sergent & sisters- Brenda Porter, Linda Hall & Glenda Sergent.

Cremation was chosen for Claude Edward Sergent with a Celebration of Life at Eastview Baptist Church of Paoli at 2pm on December 11, 2021. Bro. Greg Strother will officiate. McAdams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
