Donald Ray Standiford, 87 of Sulphur, passed away August 17, 2020 at his sister's home in English. He was born December 4, 1932 in English to parents, Ray & Pearl (McDonald) Standiford. He married Yvonne Teaford May 25, 1967 and she preceded him in death April 2, 2003. He married Carol Tomlinson December 23, 2013. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Marengo. He retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a food inspector. He also formerly worked as a park ranger, high school & college teacher, postal employee, and farmer. He served on Crawford County Library Board of Directors, Farm Bureau Board, Crawford County Historical and Genealogical Society & 4H leader and board member. He was a member and treasurer of The Friends of the Library. He was a member of the Veterans Memorial Association and founding member of The Association of Varied Arts. Donald loved and wrote poetry and cartoons.

Grandchildren- David Ray Wagner, Connor Wagner, Earl Ray Wiseman, Elizabeth Wiseman, Jessica Yorgason, Jacob Yorgason, Josh Yorgason, John Ray Morriberon, Jacob Morriberon, & Grace Morriberon

Donald Ray Standiford is preceded in death by first wife, Yvonne & one grandson, Samuel Morriberon.
Visitation will be from 11am-1pm Wednesday August 19 at Sycamore Springs Park of English under the Bluff Shelter House. Funeral will follow at 1pm. Burial will be at Teaford Cemetery of Paoli. The family requests masks be worn and social distancing be practiced during the services. McAdams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
