Edmond "Joe" Hackney, 81 of Paoli passed away on November 27, 2022 at his companion's home. He was born June 14, 1941, in Jonesville, VA to parents Carson Hackney Sr. and Melinda Bell (Hopkins) Hackney. Joe was a self-employed contractor and handyman.

He is survived by:

Companion- Sharon Pate of Paoli

Sons- Timmy Hackney of Ohio and Kevin Hackney of Mitchell

Daughter- Tina Hackney of Ohio

Brothers- Carson Hackney Jr. and Glenwood "Harold" Hackney (Judy) of all of Bedford.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, daughter-Tammy Hackney & sisters- Lucille Collier and Peggy Cox.
