James Scott Apple

James Scott Apple, 55 of Sellersburg passed away December 20 at his home. He was born November 6, 1965 in Salem to parents, James Hubert & Elizabeth Ann (Williams) Apple. He married Deborah Dean April 27, 1996. James Scott Apple was a traffic manager for Dawn Foods of Louisville. He formerly worked as a traffic manager for Ruan Transportation of Sellersburg, 

Survivors include: Wife- Deborah Apple of Sellersburg

Mother- Elizabeth Ann Apple of Paoli

 Father- James Hubert Apple of Paoli 

Daughters- Victoria Johnson (Brandon) of Paoli & Amanda Edwards of Seymour

Sons- Michael Edwards (Rebecca) of Franklin & Jeremy Staggs (April) of Columbus

Brother- Stacy Apple of New Palestine

Grandchildren- Kai Staggs, Finn Staggs, Natalie Edwards, Noah Kettinger, & Grace Johnson

He is preceded in death by sister, Amy Jo Stevens and son, Brian Edwards.

Funeral for James Scott Apple will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 29 at McAdams Mortuary. Visitation be Tuesday from 3pm-6pm,the service time, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow. McAdams Mortuary is following CDC guidelines regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. Attendance will be limited to 25 guests at a time. Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (6 ft). If you are showing symptoms of illness (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea) please do not attend.
