James Walter Dean

James Walter "Jim" Dean, age 81, passed away on May 12, 2022, at his home. He was born in Rose Hill, VA on June 19, 1940, to parents Emmett Lee Dean & Dora (Martin) Dean Millard. Jim married Rebecca Dean on October 30, 1966. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. James was also a retired engineer technician at Crane. He was a member of the Syria Christian Church of Orleans. He also served as a Deacon, Elder, Sunday School Secretary, and Teacher at Paoli Christian Church and New Hope Christian Church.

Wife: Rebecca Dean of Paoli

Daughters: Michelle Dean & Lisa Santos of St. Petersburg, FL, and Stacey Lee of Paoli

Sisters: Barbara Hegazi and Sam of Pasadena, Maryland; Sharon Hinkle and Marvin of Beloit, Wisconsin; & Ruby Crowder and Ottis of Paoli

Brother: Bradley Dean of Elkins West Virginia

Grandchildren: Renee of Paoli, Kyla of Paoli, Jadlyn of Paoli, Xavier, & Avery of St. Petersburg, FL

The visitation for James Walter "Jim" Dean will be Tuesday, May 17, from 4-7 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be Wednesday, May 18, at 11 am at the funeral home.
