James England Sr. Obituary

James Lee England Sr., 77, of Paoli, passed away September 23, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born October 31, 1943 in Louisville, KY to parents, Floyd Ray England & Brady (Dow) England. He married Penny Flick in 1982. James was retired from Indiana Desk of Jasper and Briarwood Furniture. He was also the waste management tech for Orange County's Southeast Township. He was a very caring man and loved his family dearly. He enjoyed family events at his home surrounded by his wife, his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.

 James is survived by his wife of 39 years, Penny England of Paoli

Sons- James L. England Jr. (Ty) of Paoli & Marty D. England of French Lick

Daughters- Tammy Forrest (Jay) of Paoli & Sandy Chamber (Mario) of Boonville

Sisters- Cathy Thomas (Matt) of Paoli, Lisa Cook (James) of Destin, FL, Deborah Fergusen (Rod) of Bardstown, KY

Brothers- Kenneth England (Becky) of Paoli; Gary England (Debbie) of Paoli, Rick England (Tina) of Hardinsburg, John England of Hardinsburg & Earl Taylor (Tonya) of Michigan 

Grandchildren- Chelsea, Kelsea, Willie, Tristan, Neily, Nick, Noah, Tiffany, Kyle, Ryan & Chris

Several great grandchildren

He is preceded in death by: parents- Floyd England, Brady England, Eva England & Jane England & brothers- Eugene England, Melvin England, Dewayne Johnson.

Visitation will be from 11am-1pm Sunday, September 26 at McAdams Mortuary, Funeral will follow Sunday at 1pm at the funeral home. Bro, Mark Manship will officiate, Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
