Jim Free Obituary

Jim B. Free, 72, of New Albany, passed away September 20, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital of New Albany. He was born November 4, 1946 in Paoli to parents, Owen Arthur & Fern (Trinkle) Free. He married Margaret Brim, November 10, 1967. Jim was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of South Liberty Church of Palmyra and employed at Ben Franklin Crafts of New Albany.

He is survived by:

Wife- Margaret Free of New Albany

Mother- Fern Busick of Milltown

Sons- Max Free & spouse, Jana of Pekin &

Bret Free of New Albany

Sister - Sharon Stroud & Spouse Stephen of Milltown

Grandson- Nathaniel Free of Pekin

Visitation will be from 2-8pm Wednesday, September 25 at McAdams Mortuary, Funeral will be 11am Thursday, September 26 at the funeral home. Bro. John Denny & Bro. Stephen Stroud will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery of Orleans.
