Kris L. Zimmerman

Montrose, GA – Kris L. Zimmerman, age 41, died unexpectedly, Sunday, May 17, 2020, at his residence. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Mathis Funeral Home in Cochran, GA from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A visitation will be from 9am-2pm Sunday, May 24 at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli, IN. A private funeral service will be held and burial will be in Old Union Cemetery.

Kris, born in Texas, was raised in the Indianapolis, IN and Orleans, IN area before moving to Cochran and Montrose area 8 years ago. He was the grandson of the late Sharon Zimmerman and was preceded in death by his wife Laura K. Hill. Kris was a former supervisor at Academy Sports Warehouse in Twiggs County.

Survivors are his children, Kaleb, Aiden and Noah; his father and step-mother, Steve Zimmerman and JoAnn Lassiter of Cochran; his granddaddy, Wayne Zimmerman of Orleans, IN; his sister, Tonya Zimmerman of Indianapolis, IN; his step-brother, Ronnie Bright of Indianapolis, IN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
