Lavern Bledsoe

Lavern Bledsoe, 70, of Hardinsburg, passed away March 31 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem. He was born February 4, 1951 in Paoli to parents, Charles & Sylvia (Hill) Bledsoe. He married Sue Coleman July 4, 1976. Lavern was a retired welder and worked for several different companies over the years.

Survivors include:

Wife- Sue Bledsoe of Hardinsburg

Daughter- Sarah Packwood of Orleans

Sons- Mike Bledsoe of Georgetown & C.R. Bledsoe of Mitchell

Brothers- James "Jim" Bledsoe and wife, Barb of Floyd Knobs & Eddie Bledsoe and wife, Alice of Sellersburg

Grandchildren- Cash Packwood, Carson Bledsoe & Peyton Bledsoe

He is preceded in death by sisters- Judy Smith & Lisa Bledsoe

Memorial service will be 11am Monday, April 5 at McAdams Mortuary. Friends may call after 10:30 am until the service time. Bro. Randy Weilbaker will officiate. Cremation will follow.
