Leo R. Brown

Leo R. Brown, 78, of Paoli passed away July 23, 2022 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born February 13, 1944 in Washington, IN to parents Roscoe S. & Floy (Nipper) Brown. He married Margaret A. Wilson on November 26, 1966. Leo was retired from Dana Corp. & also worked as a distributor for Coca Cola. He was a member of Paoli Church of Christ where he often led the singing. Leo attended Indiana State University and studied music which began his career as a vocalist. In the past Leo, participated in community theater with Orange County Players. He enjoyed drawing and was an artist from a young age. 

Survivors include: 

Wife- Margaret A. "Maggie" Brown of Paoli

Son- Donald L. Brown Sr. of Alexandria, LA

Grandchildren- Donald J. Brown Jr. of Paoli; Jessica Brown-Swinford of Belgium & Alexander Ray Brown of Alexandria, LA

Great Granddaughter- Lidia Swinford of Belgium

Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, and sister- Kay Beverly Hardebeck

Visitation for Leo R. Brown will be from 3-7pm Wednesday, July 27 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 11am Thursday, July 28 at the funeral home. Bro. Lee Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Paoli Community Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
