Marvin Richard Rominger

Marvin Richard Rominger, 91, of Paoli passed away March 24, 2022, at his home. He was born on January 10, 1931, to parents Floyd & Lucy (Robbins) Rominger. When Marvin was 4 years old his father died and at the age of 6, Henry Knight became his Step-Father. On March 19, 1960, he married Virginia Boss and she survives. He was a U. S. Army Veteran. Marvin worked 30 years as a heavy equipment operator laying gas pipeline. He then went to work for Koppers Corporation purchasing cross ties from local sawmills. After retiring from Koppers, he went back to work once again for the Jim Day Sawmill.

Wife: Virginia Rominger of Paoli, IN

Son: Kevin Rominger and wife Anna of Huntingburg, IN

Daughter: Theresa Pate and husband Robert of Paoli, IN

8 Grandchildren 

21 Great-grandchildren 

Sisters: Thelma Tolbert of Orleans & Clois Emmons of Shoals

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, and a sister Ruth Wilson.

Visitation for Marvin Richard Rominger will be Monday, March 28 from 4-7 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The Funeral will be Tuesday, March 29 at 1 pm at the funeral home.
