Mary Lou (Brubeck) Gilliatt

Mary Lou Gilliatt age 87, passed away Thursday, September 10 at the IU Health Hospice House of Bloomington. She was born July 3, 1933 in Paoli to parents, Wayne & Lota (Apple) Brubeck. She married David Gilliatt September 17, 1951. Mary Lou Gilliatt was a homemaker and a member of Orleans Christian Church. She was an Orange County 4-H Club Leader for over 20 years, member of the Orange County Democrats Committee & former Paoli Community School Corporation Board Member.

She is survived by: Daughter- Luann Gilliatt of Corydon

Sons- Mark Gilliatt & wife, Cindy of Paoli; Ross Gilliatt & wife, Kelli of Paoli

Sister- Lois Ann Bye & husband, John of English

Grandchildren- Chad Gilliatt, Missy Gilliatt, Mary Jane Flynn, Jerry Gilliatt, Dustin Gilliatt, Thomas Gilliatt, Logan Gilliatt & Haylie Gilliatt

Great Grandchildren- McKenzie Gilliatt, Kaden Gilliatt, Emma Flynn & Ada Flynn

She is preceded in death by parents, husband and son, Bruce Gilliatt.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm Sunday September 13 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 11am Monday, September 14 at the funeral home. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate and burial will be in Stamper Creek Cemetery. Please note that masks and social distancing are required during the services.
