Mary Alice (Johnson) Smith

Mary Alice Smith, 81 of Morgantown, passed away February 19, 2022 at St Francis Hospital of Indianapolis. She was born July 4, 1940 in Joliet, IL to parents, Walter Johnson & Doris (French) Johnson. She married Andrew Smith June 28, 1963.  Mary was a retired nurse at St. Joe Medical Center of Joliet, IL. She was the former owner and operator of "Grammy & Grampy's" restaurant formerly of Valeene. Mary was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Willington, IL & Epiphany Lutheran Church of New Salisbury.

Survivors include: 

Daughters- Barbara Ann Hamm of Palmyra; Debra Golat of Fredericksburg & Leaha Salazar & husband, Lupe of Morgantown

Sons- James Smith & wife, Carmen of Ottawa, IL; Aaron Smith & wife, Kristi of Felton, DE & Walter Smith & wife, Paula of Braidwood, IL

Sister- Annette Johnson of Indianapolis

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Charles Johnson.
