Mary E. (Deen) Wells

Mary Wells, age 84 of Georgetown (Formerly of Hardinsburg), passed away on February 6, 2023 at Guerin Woods Villas in Georgetown. She was born January 9, 1939 in Branchville to parents Leroy Tenneyson & Berti (Parks) Dean. She married Charles Edward Wells in 1957 and he precedes her in death. Mary worked at Travelers and retired from Childcraft of Salem. She was a member of the Tower Full Gospel Church of Carefree. Mary was an amazing cook and she loved gardening and growing flowers.

Son: Barry Wells (Tammy) of Hardinsburg 

Daughters: Wilma Thacker (Gary) of Paoli & Linda Wells Freiberger (Lane) of Greenville 

Brother: Jerome Byerly (Stephanie) of Milltown 

Grandchildren: Holly Thacker, Desiree Freiberger, Lorne Freiberger,  Andrew Cox, Jaden Cox, Collin Cox & Yvonne Cox

Great Grandchildren: Keaton Thacker, Bradley Freiberger, & Raelynn Higdon

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother- Richard Deen, and 2 Great Grandchildren - Derek Thacker & Marilyn Thacker

The visitation for Mary Wells will be Friday, February 10, 2023, from 4 - 7 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11 am at the funeral home.
