Patricia I (Hammons) Smith

Patricia I. Smith, 82 of Paoli, Passed away January 18 at Springs Valley Meadows of French Lick. She was born May 19, 1938 to parents, Charles Earl Hammons & Grace Ethel Flick. She married Archibald Allen Smith and he preceded her in death on February 2, 2008. Patricia was a member of Youngs Creek Church of Christ. She was a retired receptionist for Orange County Hospital and she loved to crochet. 

Survivors include: 

Brother- Curtis Charles Hammons of Arizona

Daughter-n-law- Jessie Smith of Paoli

Grandson- Aron Smith of Paoli

Granddaughters- Desiree Smith-Blassingame & Dana Tuell of English

Several Great Grandchildren

She is preceded in death by: parents, husband, sons- Danny Allen Smith & Charles Vernon Smith & grandson- Dan Allen Smith Jr. 

Visitation for Patricia Smith will be from 5-7pm Thursday, January 21 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 11am Friday, January 22 at the funeral home. Bro. David Galloway will officiate. Burial will be in Apple Chapel Cemetery. McAdams Mortuary is following CDC guidelines regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. Attendance will be limited to 25 guests at a time. Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (6 ft). If you are showing symptoms of illness (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea) please do not attend.
