Ronald E. Jones

Ronald E. Jones, 80, of Orleans, passed away January 11, 2023 at home. He was born May 5, 1942 in Paoli to parents, Ray Parke & Martha Elizabeth (Stout) Jones. He married Virginia Lee (Brim) Jones November 4, 1960 who preceded him in death on November 1, 2009. Ronald was a retired sprinkler fitter at Brown Sprinkler Corp. of Louisville. He was a member of Paoli Friends Meeting. Ronald loved hunting, sporting clays & riding motorcycles.

Survivors include:

Son- Tom Jones (Melissa) of Orleans

Daughter- Lisa Patton (Mike) of Mitchell

Grandchildren- Andrew Jones (Alyssa) of Tenley Park, IL; Joel Smith (Kanwal) of Orange Park, FL; Samantha Smith of Orleans & Cody Patton of Bedford

5 Great Grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife & brother- Richard Jones

Visitation will be from 4-7pm Sunday, January 15 at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be 11am Monday, January 16 at the funeral home. Pastor Brian Bolton will officiate. The burial will be in Paoli Community Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
