Rosa Reed Obituary

Rosa Ellen Reed, 92 of West Baden, passed away January 26 at Springs Valley Meadows. She was born August 9, 1928 in Straight Creek, KY to parents, Ralph & Bessie (Caldwell) Chapman. She married Harold Reed September 5, 1953. Rosa retired from Ball State University where she was a cook.

Survivors include:

Daughter- Cheryl Payne & husband, Jonnie Payne of West Baden

Granddaughter- Sabrina Adams

Step-Grandchildren- Daniel Payne, Beth Robinson, Jeana Byrne & Samantha Blout

Great-Grandchildren- Kyra Smoot, Christina Mahen, Devin Murphy, Jessalyn Mahen & Kaci Mahen

Great-Great-Grandchildren- Ivy Smoot & Lucas Smoot

Rosa is preceded in death by: parents, husband, daughter- Christina Mahen & brother- Lee Chapman.

Cremation was chosen for Rosa Ellen Reed. McAdams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
