Russell Lee Spaid

Russell Lee Spaid, 75, of French Lick, passed away December 22, at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis. He was born April 25, 1945 in Virginia, to parents, Martin & Emily (Hall) Spaid. Russell married Eva Cole on October 1, 1993. He was a retired welder for Hyster-Yale Group of Danville, IL. 

Survivors include: Wife: Eva (Cole) Spaid of French Lick

Children: Josie Spaid, Jonathan Spaid, Joseph Spaid, Jennifer Spaid all of Paoli; Russell Lee Spaid Jr & Martin Spaid both of Danville, IL & Kelly Perez of Illinois

Siblings: Violet Hoover of Avon, Brenda Viles of Plainfield, Steve Spaid of Minnesota, Frank Spaid, Lloyd Spaid & Lawrence Spaid all of Indianapolis

Russell is preceded in death by his parents, daughter- Carolyn Watson, sister, Mary Eldridge & brother, Glenn Spaid. 

Funeral for Russell Lee Spaid, will be 2pm Monday, December 28 at McAdams Mortuary. Bro. Frank Spaid will officiate and burial will be in Paoli Community Cemetery. McAdams Mortuary is following CDC guidelines regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. Attendance will be limited to 25 guests at a time. Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (6 ft). If you are showing symptoms of illness (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea) please do not attend.
