Russell Glen Wells

Russell Wells, 79, of Paoli, passed away May 22, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany. He was born September 23, 1941 in Paoli, to parents, Everett J. & Hazel (Alspaugh) Wells. He married Virginia (Lilley) Wells December 8, 1961. Russell was a U.S. Navy Veteran & he retired from Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center. He was a member of Paoli Masonic Lodge 119 & Orleans American Legion Warren Brock Post #69.

Wife- Virginia Wells of Paoli

Daughters- Sharon Wells Benham & husband, Michael; Brenda Eubank & husband, Ryan; & Jennifer Wells all of Paoli

Sisters- Sheila Mowery of Mitchell; Diana Wellman of Paoli, Brenda Scheidler of Evansville & Barbara Weaver of Florida

Brothers- Carroll Wells of Paoli & Ferrell Wells of French Lick

Grandchildren- Mika Bolin & husband, Jon of Fischers; Kyla Baumgartner & husband, Austen of Plainfield, Rayna Stillwell & husband, Joey of Floyds Knobs & Lily Eubank of Indianapolis

Great Grandchildren- Easton & Jaxton Baumgartner & Luke Bolin

Russell is preceded in death by his parents, sister- Wanda Busick & brother- Steve Wells.

Visitation for Russell Wells will be from 4-8pm, Monday May 24 at McAdams Mortuary. There will be a Masonic service at 7pm Monday.  Funeral will be 11am Tuesday, May 25 at the funeral home. Bro.
