Sheldon L. Abell

Sheldon L. Abell, 65, of Paoli, passed away July 13, 2021 at his home. He was born December 10, 1955 in Bedford, to parents, Harold & Alicia (Lamb) Abell. He was a retired truck driver for Shelby Trucking formerly of Mitchell. He had formerly worked for Hancock Construction & Gaylor Electric. Sheldon loved horses and his dogs. He liked flying planes, boating and motorcycles. He was skilled in operating heavy equipment. He was loyal to those he loved and he was a special person in his own unique way.

Sister- Delores Sketo & husband, Michael of Paoli

Brother- Allen Ray Abell & wife, Lyn of Atlanta, GA

Nephews- Issac Sketo & wife, Jennifer of Franklin & Brent Abell & wife, Eileen of Atlanta

Nieces- Sherri Wells & husband Joel of Oakland City, Michelle Kightlinger & husband, Phil of Franklin & Andi Abell of Atlanta

Caretaker- Debbie Hall of Paoli

Several great nieces and great nephews

Sheldon is preceded in death by his parents, son- Neal Ray Abell & nephews- Mark Engelhardt & Brandon Kyle.

Friends may call from 10am-1pm Friday, July 16 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will follow at 1pm Friday at the funeral home. Officiating will be Harvey McAdams. Burial will be in Paoli Community Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
