Shirley Jean (Dillard) Hopper

Shirley Jean Hopper, 82 of Orleans, passed away on December 3, 2022 at her home. She was born April 7, 1940, in Paoli to parents Merle and June (Compton) Dillard. She married William "Bill" Hopper on April 1, 1955. Shirley was a homemaker and formerly attended Home Mission Church of Rego and Orleans Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by: 

Daughter- Rhonda Pavey of Hardinsburg

Sons- Roger Hopper (Connie) of Mitchell, Ronnie Hopper  (Jaime) of Paoli, Randy Hopper of Hardinsburg, Roy Hopper (Cindy) of Fredericksburg, Ryan Hopper (Chon) of Hardinsburg, Robbie Hopper (Julie) of Paoli, Rex Hopper of Orleans

She’s preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers- Vance Dillard, Max Dillard, and Larry Dillard and son-n-law- Wendell Pavey.The 

Funeral will be 1pm Monday, December 5 at McAdams Mortuary. Pastor Henry Beaty will officiate. Burial will be in Ames Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm the service time on Monday. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
