Sudie B. (McBride) Tolbert

Sudie B. Tolbert, 96, of Paoli passed away on September 6, 2022 at Springs Valley Meadows of French Lick. She was born September 16, 1925 in Youngs Creek to parents, Roy and Hattie (Williams) McBride. She first married Merle Wilson who preceded her in death in 1985. Then she married Paul Poe who passed away in 2003. Most recently she was married to Cecil Tolbert who preceded her in death in 2012. Sudie was a self-employed beautician for 49 years. She was a member of Millersburg General Baptist Church where she served as pianist, organist and in missions. 

Survivors include:

Daughter- Sandra (Wilson) Tolbert (Bill) of Washington Courthouse, OH

 Son- Darrell Wilson (Mary Anne) of Paoli

Sudie is preceded in death by: parents, husbands, grandson- Delmar Wilson, infant granddaughter- Lori Tolbert, infant grandson-Billy Joe Tolbert & siblings- Eva Condra, Ruby Clevinger, Fred, Clifford, Clyde, Harvey, Irvin, Alonzo, Allen and David McBride. 

Visitation will be from 11am-2pm Friday, September 9 at Millersburg General Baptist Church. Funeral will follow at 2pm Friday at the church. Rev. Bill Tolbert & Bro. Ottis Crowder will officiate.
