Thelma L. (Switzer) Holland

In Loving Memory of Thelma Holland, 82, of Paoli,  passed away on February 28 at IU Health Paoli Hospital. Thelma was born on December 5, 1941, in Mitchell, to her parents Hubert and Marie Switzer. On January 8, 1982, she was married to Desco Keith Holland. Thelma was a member of Paoli Wesleyan Church and formerly worked at Styline of Huntingburg. Thelma had a zest for life and she took pleasure in golfing, dancing, and crocheting.

She is survived by her three daughters, Michelle Majors and husband Christopher of Paoli, Tina Lane and husband Ralph of Portland, Tennessee, and Aline Padgett and husband Tommy of Paoli. She is also remembered by her stepson, Kelly Holland of Michigan City. Thelma leaves behind a legacy in her grandchildren: Brittany Popp, Tristian Mudd, Jayden Lane, Josh Lane, Cody Padgett, and Dusty Bowles, along with several great-grandchildren.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and siblings James Switzer and Betty Levi & stepdaughter Tammy Holland.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, at 1 PM at McAdams Mortuary. Friends and family may pay their respects from 11 AM until the service begins. Lyndel Manship will officiate the ceremony, and the burial will take place in Paoli Community Cemetery.
