Vicki Herd Obituary

Vicki L. Herd, 67 of French Lick, passed away May 6, 2020 at Paoli Health & Living Community. She was born October 1, 1952 in New Albany to parents Leroy & Vinola (McCutcheon) Sturgis. She married Paul Herd May 5, 1973. Vicki worked for Salem Poultry and Heritage House Long Term Care formerly of Salem.

Survivors include: Husband- Paul Herd of French Lick

Daughter- Cinnamon Herd of French Lick

Son- Paul Wayne Herd of Jeffersonville

Grandchildren- Faith E. Herd, Gabriel Turpin & Mikayla Turpin

Brother- Richard Stone of Salem

Sisters- Cheryl Panky of Fredericksburg, Barbara Mefford of New Albany & Rhonda Stark of Missouri

She is preceded in death by: parents & brother- Vernon Stone.

Visitation will be from 11am-1pm Tuesday, May 12 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Bro. Darrell Wineinger will officiate. Cremation will follow. McAdams Mortuary is following CDC guidelines for mass gatherings and social distancing. Thank you for your patience and consideration during this time.
