William "Bill" White

Bill White, 86, of Paoli, IN, passed away peacefully in Chicago on July 13, 2022.  Bill is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ada White and is survived by his sister, Judy, his wife, Jocelyn, his children, Heidi, John, Will, Matthew, Dusty, Laura, Emily, and Cameron, 24 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.  Born in Attleboro, MA in 1935, Bill studied geology at Brigham Young University where he was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Before serving a church mission in southern Indiana and later taking up residence in Paoli, Bill served in the United States Army as a Military Police.  Bill loved his family, his church, and working at Paoli Peaks.  He had a passion for history, especially ancient American history, and archeology.  Those wishing to join the family at a viewing from 11am-1pm Monday, July 18 at McAdams Mortuary or funeral at 1pm Monday at the funeral home, are invited to do so.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Paoli Public Library 100 W.
